Competition on Amazon has become fierce and you need a listing that converts shoppers into buyers. In this episode I am joined by Amazon listing optimization expert Emma Tamir where we break down the tips and strategies that help your listings convert to sales. Having a well optimized listing that speaks to your target customer is essential to growing your business on and off of Amazon.

1. Know your target customer - It's critical that you build a customer avatar and speak them appropriately in your listing copy. You need to know what's important to them and how to speak to them to get their attention. 

2. Tell your brand story - What makes your product and brand unique and different compared to the competition? You should use your listing and A+ content sections to tell the story of your products and brand. Why should they buy your product over the competition? What is your brand all about? What do you stand for? 

3. Add text to images: Amazon is a very visual platform as most customers will pay lots of attention to your images. Use some space on your images to add some text to help you point out a feature or benefit of your product and guide the customers decision. Be careful not to add too much text and make sure the text is large enough that it can be ready without zooming in on it.
